FUTO marks the meeting of craftsmanship and minimalist design, combining different types of fabric and their places of production. Across all pieces, time-honoured techniques and regional expertise define the collection, reflecting skills refined and passed down over generations.

The bags are created in a sock factory in Nagano, Japan, using the WholeGarment method. This seamless 3D knitting technique minimises material loss by eliminating fabric waste. The aprons and hats are produced in Enshu, Japan, using high-density cotton woven on traditional looms, an area long recognised for its cotton textile heritage. Aprons and small linen items are also made in India, where handwork remains central to textile production.
